One tool, two screens.

• The Hub is your entrance each morning — today's dog count, who's working, the day's note, and your clock in/out. It replaces the morning text.
• The Day Board is the working screen all day — one card per pet, walked from check-in to pickup.

It lives on the floor tablet. No money moves in Compass — it's the floor tool, not the register.

• The dog count is automatic from the booked pets. An admin can type a manual number with Set count, or tap Use auto to go back to automatic.
• Today's note is the day's message for everyone — admins post it and it replaces yesterday's.
• Today's Update is for anyone — a heads-up, a swap, a "we're low on shampoo." Type it, tap Post.

• Start Break / End Break mark an unpaid break — tap as you step away and when you're back.
• Forgot a punch? Use Fix a punch — pick the entry, set the right time, and give a reason (a reason is required; it records who fixed it).
• Admins can Export the pay period (CSV) at the end of a pay period — pick the dates and person, then Download.

Who's On Today is read-only for everyone — just glance at who's working and when.

Admins (Linda / Elias) can tap a schedule cell to Edit shift — type the hours (e.g. "8am-3pm") and Save.

• Package & Price + Confirm — check the package and price are right, then tap Confirm to lock it.
• Notes (3 fields) — Front Desk, Bather, Groomer. They auto-save and everyone sees them.
• Photos — add Before / After / Fun photos for the pet's parents; the × deletes one.
• Pet history — read what happened on past visits for context.
• Add-on chips — tap an add-on green when it's finished. Bather dropdown — pick who bathed this pet (credits them).

• Check In — front desk, when the pet arrives.
• Start Bath / Bath Done — the bather, at start and finish (Bath Done notifies the groomer).
• Start Groom / Groom Done — the groomer, at start and finish.
• Confirm Done — marks the pet ready for pickup.
• Picked Up — front desk, when the parent collects.
• ← undo last tap — reverses your last status change if you mis-tapped.

Type into any field — it saves automatically and everyone on the floor sees it.

Coming next version: notes split into client-facing vs internal, with separate Groomer / Bather instruction boxes and a read-only Last-Visit box. This guide updates when that ships.

• For you: the bather you pick and the add-ons you tick credit the right person — that's fair commission and a record of your work.
• For parents: photos and good notes mean a great hand-off and loyal customers.
• For the shop: accurate timing and capture means correct pricing and a business that keeps everyone earning.

Each section of Compass has one small ? dot in its top corner. Tap it and a one-line tip appears. The dots stay quiet so they don't clutter the screen — the words live in the legend right here.
