You'll Do
- Greet every client and pet by name — warmly, every single time
- Check pets in and out: confirm services, collect notes, process payments
- Manage the schedule — phones, walk-ins, online bookings, rebooking at checkout
- Keep the lobby calm, clean, and welcoming all day
- Make sure no pet waits too long — monitor timing and communicate with groomers
- Send follow-up texts and rebook reminders so clients always come back
- Ask for a Google review at every checkout (every time — it matters)
- Handle the end-of-day cash close and shift handoff
You'll Need
- Genuine love for animals
- Warm, professional phone presence
- Organized and calm under pressure
- Comfortable with booking/POS software
- Great with people — and pets
- High school diploma / GED
- Customer service experience a plus
- Reliable, on-time, accountable
What Success Looks Like
- 75%+ of clients rebooked at checkout before they leave
- Every call answered in 3 rings; every inquiry replied to within 2 hours
- Clients feel known, welcomed, and cared for — not processed
